Prolog
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Prolog is a short-n-sweet endless* shoot-em-up made in the Love2D framework, featuring:
- Stylized Graphics
- A four-track OST
- Simple controls
- Many, many bullets to dodge.
Controls:
Arrow keys to move, shift to move precisely.
Z to shoot normal gun
Hold X to shoot special gun
The special gun takes a moment to start shooting and drains ammo quickly, but it does more damage and pierces through the armor of most enemies. Ammo is replenished by hitting enemies with the normal gun.
IMPORTANT NOTE: While there are no official ports of Prolog to Mac systems, the .love file should work just fine with the appropriate Love2D interpreter. See install instructions for details.
*technically, there are only 100 complete levels. Once you get to level 101 you'll fight an unbeatable version of the stage 1 miniboss. Good luck actually getting there, though, that'll be a brutally long and difficult endurance challenge.

Please read the README file! Prolog will only run on Love 11.3 (and presumably, later versions, once they come out). If you are on linux and don't download Love2d from the official site, you may not get the latest version.
Minor apology: I accidently labeled this game "blind friendly" in the Accessibility Settings. it's not, I meant to put "Colorblind friendly": Turning on Colorblind mode forces all enemies to be bright yellow, the player to be medium cyan, and the background to be dark gray. My apologies to anyone who downloaded this game thinking it was blind friendly and found it wasn't.
